Palace Residence

Located in northern NSW, this Australian family residence was inspired by the Jodha Bia Palace in India with a large living/dining room, four bedrooms and a master bedroom with a walk-in-robe and all with ensuites. The original theatre and entertainment rooms and granny flat are now two 6-star B and B’s (instagram – @jodhabairetreat). There’s also a large outdoor covered entertainment space and a three car garage and an 11 kL rainwater and 32 kL stormwater underground tanks.
This was a very challenging design task, dealing with construction in solid Indian red sandstone carved in India and shipped here to be assembled by the owner-builder.
